An advanced class DVR that records at a maximum frame resolution of 2560x1440 pixels at 30 fps. Its f/1.3 lens has a field of view of about 140° — the optics capture both oncoming and oncoming traffic lanes, along with sidewalks or shoulders. A distinctive feature of the DVR is the Emergency SOS function for calling emergency services to the scene of an accident. At the same time, the model is equipped with a built-in GPS receiver, which will serve to link the vehicle's location coordinates and speed to the video sequence.

NEXTBASE 422GW supports voice control commands given through the Amazon Alexa assistant. The device has a 2.5-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 960x480 pixels.
