The phone is definitely worth your attention. Read the comments and draw conclusions.
26 December 2010
I won't be verbose. I had a Nokia 5800 (for 2 years). It had its pros and cons, but it so happened that it was stolen, and the next day I bought myself a C5, and you know, I didn't regret it one bit. I also looked at the E52, but I realized that all those internal features that could have cost me $100 in the end, I didn't need at all (Wi-Fi, digital compass, accelerometer, and +0.2" screen size), and herein lies a very smart, fast phone with a convenient keyboard! Yes, everyone can find faults with it, as with any phone in general! But! I bought it for 1320 UAH ($164) – and believe me (!) – it is worth every hryvnia.
So, it's still up to you to decide, but I tried to provide more or less objective arguments to convey to you "what's what" :)
Good luck with your choice! :)
P.S.: It seems to me that the "glitchiness of a phone" might be affected by the assembly(!). Mine, for example, like the 5800, was assembled in Hungary and everything is excellent.
1) works quickly;
2) already familiar easy interface;
3) GPS works perfectly;
4) large and very conveniently located buttons;
5) loud speaker;
6) the screen is really bright, although not without its drawbacks;
1) The "Menu" and "Delete" buttons are a bit small, although you get used to it rather quickly.
2) I can't figure out if the contrast is too high or the brightness. At first, it hurts the eyes, but then it becomes quite pleasant for the eyes (apparently you need to get used to it)... :)
3) The headphones leave much to be desired :)

one of the best smartphones in terms of price and quality ratio

The phone is worthy if you compare it with the same E52 or E72, because... Those have low build quality and dust constantly gets under the screen. On the C5, the build quality is at a high level, without creaks or play. A 3.5 mm lens will only benefit music lovers, because... The sound quality in headphones is not inferior to the same 5800. Buy it, you won’t regret it.
One of the best Nokia smartphones in terms of price and quality ratio. Excellent technical specifications - powerful processor 600 MHz, 3.5 mm audio jack, GPS, no backlash or creaks, no dust under the screen, with an excellent camera and 2 external speakers. Slim, stylish body, especially white. The case materials are the same as on the Nokia N97 mini. It works quickly, GPS and Internet launches without problems. As for the reception, everything is at a very good level. I use an 8GB card and have never had any crashes or freezes.
Lack of Wi-Fi, but this is not a problem either.

HOW Just GREAT for me!
7 October 2010
Beautiful, pleasant in the hand. The Internet loads instantly, downloaded SKYPE works. The location search is very accurate. I WATCH MOVIES ON IT! FULL SET. Download the programs in the OVI store in C5, configure them and you will see everything YOURSELF, SIMPLY SUPER! DOES NOT HEAT IN THE HEAT, COLD IN HAND.
I got a HUNGARIAN, and his weight is not enough!
