NVIDIA SHIELD TV

Introduced in the fall of 2021, the NVIDIA brand media player is positioned as a compact device that is easy to hide behind a large TV display. The performance of the model should be enough not only to watch high-definition video, up to 4K resolution with a frame rate of 60 fps, but also for games. In addition to the corresponding applications on Android TV, owners of the NVIDIA SHIELD TV set-top box have access to the proprietary GeForce NOW gaming service.

Hardware is represented by an 8-core Tegra X1 processor, 2 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory. Popular Google apps, Netflix and Amazon Prime online cinemas, YouTube video hosting, and more are already available out of the box. You can connect to the Internet by wire (gigabit LAN) or via Wi-Fi. In addition, there is a slot for memory cards, which is useful, for example, to view photos from the camera on a large screen. Plus, thanks to the Chromecast function, it will not be difficult to organize the broadcast of content directly from your smartphone or tablet. Other features of the model include good sound quality (thanks to Dolby Atmos), support for current HDR standards (Dolby Vision and HDR10), and a remote control with voice control.
