A good mid-range smartphone boasting a quality 6.59-inch diagonal AMOLED screen, balanced performance, well-balanced cameras, and complete dust and water protection with IP68/IP69K certification. The device showcases the mentioned AMOLED panel with a maximum resolution of 2760x1256 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Directly within the screen is an optical fingerprint scanner for unlocking the phone via fingerprint.
The processor is borrowed from its predecessor model; inside the OPPO Reno14 256GB/12GB is a solid MediaTek Dimensity 8350 eight-core chip, supported by 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Notably, the model has excellent photography capabilities—the rear camera consists of a 50 MP main sensor with optical stabilization, an 8 MP ultra-wide, and a 50 MP telephoto lens, while the selfie module uses a high-resolution 50 MP sensor (with autofocus). The smartphone's battery capacity is a neat 6000 mAh. To avoid staying plugged into an outlet for too long, the battery supports fast 80W wired charging.
Standout features: high-quality AMOLED display, sturdy IP68/IP69K durability, excellent photographic capabilities, high-capacity battery, and fast charging support.

A solid smartphone that offers far more than Korean and American A-brands

It’s very disappointing that the item I picked up at the Comfy store in Kharkiv had already been unpacked, without any warning, while I paid the full price for a brand-new one. It was the last one left in the chain, in Kyiv. I reserved it online. Then, together with a consultant at the physical store in Kharkiv, I cancelled that order and immediately placed a new one with the item transferred to the physical store in Kharkiv. At that stage, I also asked whether it was a display model. I was assured that it wasn’t and that everything would be additionally checked when the phone arrived at the Kharkiv store. When I came to pick up the paid-for item, it turned out that the documentation had been glued to the top of the box, and the box itself had been resealed. The store representatives just blinked and said they had no idea what was going on. The initial startup had already been done before me, and the gallery contained test videos of a person recorded on 15.06.26 who, for some reason, had decided not to buy it at Comfy in Kyiv. After inspecting the phone on-site, around 18.08.26, I still took it, because I probably wouldn’t have found another one to buy later. But the aftertaste is still very unpleasant...
The tactile feel, aesthetic appearance, performance, cameras, dust/moisture protection, and vibration motor are all almost at flagship level. I’m getting used to ColorOS after OneUI on my previous smartphone.
Appearance, level of protection, camera quality, tactile feel, vibration motor, sound quality, performance, battery life, fast charging
Unusual launcher (skin) from the manufacturer (I switched from Samsung) – I think it’s just a matter of habit and irresponsible service at the store
Maksim: use OPPO Reno14 256GB/12GB less than month
This is a very balanced and outstanding device, a flagship at an affordable price. The only downside is the lack of wireless charging. The display is excellent, the haptic feedback is at flagship level, the battery provides long usage time, and charging is quick. The hardware performance is also top-notch. The camera takes great pictures, especially the telephoto modules. Video recording in 4K resolution at 60 frames per second is stable, without any stuttering, which is comparable to iPhone quality. The front camera with autofocus, which also shoots in 4K at 60 frames per second, is top-notch. The only minus is that the European version's package is practically empty.
