Debuted on the market in 2021, the Philips clipper belongs to the middle-class household solutions. It is positioned as a washable model, since it provides full protection of the body from water and allows wet cleaning — just under running tap water. It uses the proprietary 41mm DualCut reversible cutting block with stainless steel blades. Knives do not require additional care in the form of lubrication.
The Philips Series 5000 HC5650 offers a wide range of length settings with a universal comb that can be adjusted from 3mm to 28mm in 1mm increments. In addition, one fixed 2 mm nozzle is included in the delivery package — for bristles. Plus, you can cut without combs (0.5 mm). Especially for thick hair, a turbo mode with increased work power is proposed. Two scenarios for using the model are also possible: from the network (almost continuously) or from a battery that provides up to 90 minutes of battery life.
