The QNAP TS-216G is a dual-bay NAS server that delivers high performance and energy efficiency for storing, synchronizing, and backing up data for home and office use. The heart of the device is a quad-core ARM Cortex-A55 processor with a frequency of 2 GHz and 4 GB of RAM, which provides stable multitasking with minimal power consumption. The built-in neural processing unit (NPU) supports AI functions for face and object recognition, which is especially useful for sorting the media library and using video surveillance.

The One-Touch Copy function allows you to instantly copy data from external USB devices to the NAS with a single click. Snapshot support protects data from accidental deletion and malware, including ransomware, providing the ability to quickly restore. The storage supports the installation of two hard drives up to 22 TB each, which gives a total capacity of up to 38.6 TB, and with RAID 1, you can save up to 19.3 TB with data duplication for protection. Networking capabilities include two LAN ports supporting 1 Gbps and 2.5 Gbps, as well as three USB ports (two USB 2.0 and one USB 3.2 Gen 1) for connecting peripheral devices. The NAS is managed via the QTS operating system, which supports web and FTP server functions, a multimedia server, video surveillance, and domain integration.
