A compact mid-range NAS server for storing and sharing data, aimed at small and medium businesses. QNAP TS-432PXU-RP-2G is made in a rack format and is designed for rack mounting. It has four bays for 3.5-inch drives with a SATA 2/SATA 3 interface, the ability to hot-swap drives and support for the most common RAID configurations (RAID 0/1/5/6/10/50/60, JBOD and Single). The NAS is equipped with two 10GbE SFP+ ports and two 2.5GbE, providing high bandwidth for collaboration, fast file access and backup.

The presence of a PCIe Gen 2×2 slot allows you to add expansion cards to the system to improve networking capabilities, SSD caching and connect wireless modules. Additionally, the NAS is equipped with four USB 3.2 gen1 ports. The server supports backup and synchronization functions, including protection using instant snapshots and integration with corporate Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 accounts.

Cloud gateways provide the ability to deploy hybrid cloud storage. A backup power supply ensures uninterrupted operation of critical processes. Support for the SMB mechanism enhances security when storing and transferring data. Separately, the manufacturer emphasizes the use of the AES-128-GMAC protocol, which significantly reduces the load on the hardware (note: Alpine AL324 with 4 Cortex-A57 cores and 4 GB of expandable RAM) when using SMB.
