Compact and lightweight (weight 1.65 kg without battery) cordless hammer drill, designed for home use. With its help, you can drill small holes (up to 16 mm in diameter in concrete) for installing cornices or skirting boards, knock down plaster or tiles, and perform other relatively simple tasks that do not require any special power or high impact energy from the tool. The Ryobi R18SDS-0 rotary hammer chuck allows the use of different types of drilling, drilling and impact equipment with SDS+ shanks. The built-in backlight helps when working in places with insufficient lighting. In this configuration, the hammer drill is supplied without a battery and charger.

As a tool for home use for 10 holes, it is rather weak for construction work. Wireless, lightweight, 2 4 Ah batteries last for a day of work. The motor is disposable. After 4 months of intensive use, the brushes were worn out and the brush mount burned off. During disassembly, it was discovered that all the parts were worn out. Searching for the motor by number did not lead to anything. It was not possible to order it. use Ryobi R18SDS-0 month or more |
After more than a year of active use, a gap appeared between the battery and the hammer drill itself, and after a year of use, a slight play in the drill bit also appeared. I used the recommended drill bits for length and thickness, except for rare exceptions.
