The Ryobi RLM-18X33B40 lawn mower is designed for cutting grass in areas that are constantly maintained. It is more convenient than network models, because it does not have wires that interfere with manoeuvring between trees, bushes and flower beds. This model does an excellent job with "English" and rolled lawns, on which grass of low height grows, which needs to be cut once or twice a week. But if you rarely mow the grass, and therefore the site is thoroughly neglected, and forbs 20–30 cm high have grown on it, then the engine will not have enough power. For unkempt lawns, it is better to take a traditional corded mower, like the Ryobi RLM-13E33S, or buy a Ryobi RBC-1226I trimmer.

Simple to set up and easy to operate

With a moderate working width (33 cm), the mower is manoeuvrable. It weighs little (7.5 kg), so it is easy to push forward or turn on the spot. Women, teenagers and the elderly will be able to work with this device without any problems.

The device is equipped with a removable bag of the combined type with a volume of 35 liters. There is an indicator on the lid of the grass box that allows you to monitor its filling. Instead of a bag, you can install a nozzle for grass mulching (it is included in the kit). In order to trim the edges of lawns and mow the vegetation close to the fences, a plastic “comb” is made on the body behind the front wheels. The cutting height is adjustable from 25 mm to 65 mm. The adjustment lever has 5 positions. It changes the height of all wheels at the same time. But the design of the lever causes complaints from users. It sometimes sticks or even breaks off. Therefore, it is better to switch positions less often and more carefully.

Lawn mower as an element of the system of tools and garden equipment

The capacity of the standard battery that comes with the Ryobi RLM-18X33B40 lawn mower is 4 Ah. The charge is enough for about 20 minutes of work — enough to mow 2 acres of lawn with low grass (but if its height reaches 20 – 30 cm, then the battery will be depleted in 5 – 10 minutes). Importantly, the system's 18-volt batteries are compatible with a variety of Ryobi garden tools and tools, from rotary rotary hammers to compressors with garden sprayers.
