The model is notable for its stylish design with a white finish on the back of the case and the presence of CoreSync backlighting, which emphasizes the gaming, slightly aggressive orientation of the design. The Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 32 monitor is based on a 10-bit VA matrix with high-quality Mini LED backlighting.

The latter is represented by miniature LEDs, which provide local dimming of the image with 1196 independent zones.
