price the system was running. After a couple months, bad sectors started to appear in the area from 5-12 GB from the start. Sometimes it would drop out of the system while working. I changed the firmware from SS34 to SS35 (from the manufacturer's website). The firmware was released three months before the hard drive's production date. CONCLUSION = the manufacturer DOESN'T CARE.....  magama: use Seagate Barracuda Green few months i recommend it don't buy |
The main advantage of this model is the memory capacity and buffer speed. Before purchasing, check with several sources about the reliability, as the price is very attractive. Good buffer size (positively affects the performance of system programs), SATA technology provides excellent hard drive speed, large capacity. i've been using it for a fairly short time, so I can't say anything about the reliability of this device. georilla: use Seagate Barracuda Green month or more |
it's a good, quiet propeller that's been working flawlessly for a year and a half now, no complaints so far. the speed is of course not enough, but for the money it's just right Igor: use Seagate Barracuda Green more than year |
