This line includes SATA3 drives with capacities ranging from 1 GB to 14 TB, whose firmware and design are optimized for long-term data storage tasks in NAS arrays. Such hard drives are adapted for use in SOHO NAS (small office/home office), are compatible with almost all modern file storage models, and are characterized by an impressive operational resource.
The WD NasWare Red WD40EFRX hard drive is positioned as a mid-price category product intended for use in home and office storage (up to 8 drives), connected to a local network via high-speed network cables or wireless connections. This model uses classic magnetic recording technology CMR, which allows for an enhanced data transfer speed, and the magnetic platters themselves rotate at a speed of 5400 rpm.

good quality product I think the main advantage is that it is optimized for consumer NAS. They behave normally at work and remain cool. This is a very good indicator.
