A compact and versatile network storage designed for small and medium businesses, as well as home users who need an effective data management platform. The device allows you to import and synchronize data between PCs, Mac computers, smartphones and external devices, simplifying the organization and management of files. The ability to synchronize with cloud services Google Drive, Dropbox and Microsoft OneDrive provides flexibility and ease of working with data in different environments.
The model can also be used as a video surveillance server with the ability to record data both to the local system and to the cloud. The manufacturer places special emphasis on supporting 8,300 different models of IP cameras. Synology DiskStation DS423 is equipped with a 4-core Realtek RTD1619B processor with 2 GB of RAM (not expandable). The disk subsystem is represented by 4 slots for classic 3.5” drives with hot swapping and support for the most common RAID configurations. The external connection of the server is provided by two gigabit LAN connectors and two USB 3.2 gen1 ports. The model runs on the proprietary DSM OS with the new generation Btrfs file system, which uses the snapshot function to protect data from damage, allowing you to roll back to previous versions of files in case of accidental or malicious changes.
