Ready for some serious work
The Tatonka brand trekking backpack is positioned as a reliable solution for hikes of various levels of difficulty. The base volume of 65 liters is increased by 10 liters by raising the top valve. And this is often enough for long outings into nature.
The Y1 proprietary solution is used as a suspension system. This is a height-adjustable rigid back with an anatomical design and a well-thought-out fixation system (straps, waist belt and chest strap). Such a suspension is designed for medium and heavy loads, therefore, with a dead weight of 2 kg, Tatonka Noras 65 + 10 will allow the tourist to comfortably carry up to 20 kg on his shoulders.
Easy access to things
The main compartment of the backpack is divided by a removable partition with a zipper into two sections — upper and lower. You can get to the first one traditionally — through the provided valve. It is removable here, which will add convenience when loading / unloading things. Also offered frontal opening with a U-shaped clasp. When it is opened, it will be possible to effortlessly remove any items (from both the upper and lower sections), even if the contents are tightly packed.
Trekking poles or other equipment such as a sleeping bag can be easily attached to the outside using both the appropriate loops and a wide range of ties with a good supply of lines in length. But the set of pockets is too modest: there is only a small top one with a keyholder (in the valve) and a pair of open side pockets (for bottles).
Quality above all
The model is made of thick Textreme 6.6 polyester. The fabric is notable for its high-quality water protection and abrasion resistance (T-Rain Rip weaving). Partly because of this, a rain cover is not included in the package, although it would not be superfluous for serious rainfall. As fittings, products of a trusted manufacturer YKK with ergonomic dogs are used, which are easy to use even with gloves. It is also worth highlighting the preparation for the drinking system and the presence of reflective elements.
