Model overview based on user reviews
The Transcend SSD110S series offers a range of storage capacities, from 128GB to 2TB, and is appreciated for its fast performance and affordable pricing. Users have highlighted its ability to speed up system boot times, with some noting that Windows 10 starts up faster than their monitor turns on. The SSD is praised for not occupying a drive slot in the case due to its PCI-E 4x interface. However, there are mixed reviews regarding reliability, as one user reported a failure after a year of use. Another user mentioned that the SSD does not overheat, although early revisions may require a controller update. Overall, the Transcend SSD110S is seen as a good value for money, offering speed and efficiency for everyday computing needs.

Relatively slow controller, and this allows it not to overheat (maximum 44-46 C in summer) does not overheat, but the radiator does not hurt relatively slow, if the revision is early, then after installation you need to update the controller firewood |
As an NVMe drive, it is really faster than SATA, and certainly much faster than HDD. Open-world games ran without lag, and the system worked quickly. Throughout its usage, the drive didn't overheat. The SSD was used for 4 years as a system drive (C drive), but eventually, the drive failed. High speed thanks to NVMe, noticeably faster than HDD, easy connection without cables No shortcomings were identified during active use. |
Purchased at Polyus for 2,420 on 01/20/2020. So, I've been using it for a year minus 38 days. Of course, I'd like more, but 256 will do. Speed, the OS is ready before you even sit down Price not yet |
