Powerful access point of a wireless Wi-Fi network of the 802.11a / n standard operating in the 5 GHz band. Made in the form of a directional parabolic antenna providing a gain of 22 dBi. Designed for outdoor installation, fully protected from atmospheric influences and condensation. The manufacturer is positioned as a specialized solution for organizing point-to-point Wi-Fi connections in large open spaces, including within the boundaries of settlements.
Thanks to the 400 mW transmitter and high degree of directivity - the vertical and horizontal angles of the radiation pattern are less than 10 degrees, it is able to provide an impressive range of stable communication up to 20 km. The network processor is an Atheros MIPS 74Kc clocked at 560 MHz. The antenna elements of the Ubiquiti PowerBeam M5-300 access point operate in 2x2 MIMO mode and provide a wireless connection throughput of up to 150 Mbps. The device can also operate in bridge mode and supports power supply through the LAN 10/100BASE-TX interface port using Power-over-Ethernet (PoE In) technology. The access point runs under the proprietary operating system Air OS.
