Professional Router Ubiquiti UniFi Dream Router 7 for deploying public or office computer networks. This equipment is presented by the American brand in 2025 and is a top-tier solution with a large set of advantages for various usage scenarios. Thanks to its powerful technical base (4-core processor at 1.5 GHz + 3 GB RAM) and modern technologies, the model supports more than 300 simultaneous connections and is compatible with both old and new generation gadgets.
The router supports the Wi-Fi 7 standard and provides a data transfer speed of 5700 Mbps on the 6 GHz band (4300 Mbps for 5 GHz, 688 Mbps for 2.4 GHz). Internet connection can be achieved either through the standard WAN port at 2.5 Gbps or directly via fiber optics with the SFP+ 10 Gbps port. Further local network organization is possible both wirelessly and through 2.5 Gbps LAN ports, one of which supports PoE.
The router guarantees a coverage area of about 160 square meters thanks to the amplifier and 6 antennas. A key feature of the equipment is centralized management of other devices (access points, surveillance cameras, security sensors, and more) via proprietary software. Configuration of parameters and control is carried out remotely or locally via Bluetooth. The router comes with built-in 64 GB memory and a MicroSD card slot for creating public local or cloud storage. Among other features, it includes its own security system to prevent intrusions. The Ubiquiti UniFi Dream Router 7 stands out due to its robust performance, Wi-Fi 7 support, vast simultaneous connections, and centralized device management, making it ideal for modern network demands.

Choice of Professionals
The Ubiquiti UniFi Dream Router 7 is a professional-grade device designed for building wired and wireless networks in offices, educational institutions, government facilities, public spaces, and large private homes. The model offers an extended set of features ensuring stable internet operation and centralized management of the UniFi ecosystem devices, including surveillance cameras, security systems, and smart home elements.
The device allows flexible configuration of access and traffic settings, with 3 GB of RAM supporting simultaneous operation with over 300 clients. The use of MU-MIMO and 4Q-CAM technologies improves the efficiency and stability of data transmission even under heavy loads. An integrated microSD slot and an included 64 GB memory card enable the organization of a personal file server.
The New Speed Standard
The router supports the Wi-Fi 7 standard with full functionality in three bands, including the 6 GHz frequency, which is already approved for use in many countries. The maximum wireless connection speed reaches 10.7 Gbps thanks to band aggregation via MLO technology and a channel width of 320 MHz.
For internet connectivity, the device is equipped to work with two providers simultaneously: via a standard 2.5 Gbps WAN port and a more advanced SFP+ interface with speeds up to 10 Gbps. They can be used in redundancy or load balancing modes. Three LAN ports allow deploying a local network and expanding coverage with additional equipment, with one output supporting PoE power.
The device operates reliably in the temperature range from -10 to +40 degrees, making it suitable for installation in both residential and technical premises — basements, utility rooms, or warehouses.

The main task was to get only 2.5Gbit ports and WiFi 7.
Task accomplished. I can't say everything has gotten better yet, basically nothing has changed, same home, same devices, same router location. All clients are maximum 2x2. It's just that on Samsung with WiFi 7 in the farthest room, +50Mbps.
Visually, this one is more interesting, especially that tiny display; you start torrenting and watch the provider earn their money. Very compact size. Lower price. A lot more configuration options. I finally understood why the backup line didn't work properly on Asus before, so I had to change the accompanying hardware. Proprietary software allows for much more professional setup.
