A high-performance, dual-band, indoor access point that provides increased area of quality Wi-Fi coverage. The manufacturer is positioning itself as a specialized solution for organizing large Wi-Fi zones in large indoor areas, offices, hotels, shops, shopping centers and public spaces. Equipped with a built-in omnidirectional antenna providing high signal strength in two frequency bands.
Thanks to its powerful hardware configuration, the Ubiquiti UniFi AC LR AP is able to support high-speed connections both in the 2.4 GHz band (up to 300 Mbps) and when using the 5 GHz carrier frequency (up to 867 GHz). The speed characteristics claimed by the manufacturer are achieved through the use of high-power transmission modules and the use of MIMO multi-stream data transmission technology in a 2x2 configuration.
The latter circumstance additionally increases the radius of reliable reception and allows a greater number of simultaneous connections of client devices. To organize an incoming WAN connection, there is an RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet port (up to 1000 Gbps), and it can also be used to power the device using Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) technology. Bridge and repeater modes are supported, as well as all current security protocols and traffic encryption.
