Works in conjunction with the Ubiquity AmpliFi HD Mesh Router to expand network coverage. Configuration using the "AmpliFi" application.
High-performance AC1750 class dual-band Wi-Fi access point, designed specifically for use in combination with the AmpliFi HD Mesh Router wireless router. Designed to perform the functions of a wireless repeater that expands the coverage area of the proprietary seamless MESH network of the Wi-Fi 5 standard. The Ubiquiti AmpliFi MeshPoint HD access point is equipped with two independent radio modules - 2.4 and 5 GHz, respectively.
Despite its compact size, it demonstrates high output power (up to 26 dBm), while conventional solutions use 20 dBm modules. All standards of wireless Wi-Fi connections are supported: 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac with a channel width of 20, 40 and 80 MHz. The total theoretical throughput can reach 1750 Mbps: 450 Mbps for 2.4 GHz and 1300 Mbps for 5 GHz. The built-in dual-band, tri-polarized antenna provides three MU-MIMO 3x3 transmit/receive channels on each band. The pre-installed software automatically creates and maintains a 3D-MESH mesh network. It uses a range of convenient technologies such as Self-Forming, Self-Healing and Intelligent Router Steering.
