The Ubiquiti NanoStation 5ac Loco access point is designed for outdoor installation, is not afraid of moisture and temperature changes in the range from -40 to +70 °C, is powered by Power-Over-Ethernet technology, and is protected from static electricity. For a device of this class, it has minimal dimensions (179x78x59 mm) and a modest weight of 180 g. It is an excellent choice as a client CPE equipment for connecting to a provider's base station, which is located at a small distance from the client. It is worth adding that when connecting to the provider's base station as a client, the base must necessarily support the airMAX ac wireless data transfer protocol (regular airMAX is not supported in client mode). Gigabit PoE injector POE-24-12W-G or POE-24-24W-G, required for power supply, is not included in the kit and must be purchased separately.
