Versatility
The charger can work with a single rechargeable battery or with four cylindrical cells at the same time. It supports all major battery types — Ni-Cd, Ni-Mh, Li-Ion, LiFePO4 and IMR. Once a battery is inserted, the device automatically detects its type and selects the optimal voltage and current settings, ensuring a safe charging process.
Enhanced functionality
This model goes well beyond standard charging. It can measure internal resistance of cells, run capacity testing in discharge mode, and features a dedicated Store mode designed to prepare batteries for long-term storage. Information for each slot is shown on the built-in display as arrow indicators, with data displayed individually for each channel.
High charging currents
The XTAR VC4SL charger can deliver up to 3000 mA when charging a single battery, up to 2000 mA with two occupied slots, and up to 1000 mA when charging three or four cells simultaneously. In addition, the model supports the Quick Charge 3.0 fast-charging protocol and can be used as a power bank to power external devices via the built-in USB port.
