Excellent speakers, bought for another 900 dollars in 2007. In use for 13 years. Speakers for everything and audiophile and also for the theater. A subwoofer for audio is not needed, it gives out the bottoms that the glasses fly out. Regarding the negative reviews, the sound is wrong, this is from an incorrectly selected amplifier and an equalizer or a percent is required. For any acoustics, you need to select discounts to make it sound. H changed them 3 until the ideal went. Even if you connect the Yamaha, still put an equalizer or a music processor. The model is universal for stereo and theater, without genre preferences, with detail of the entire(!) range at any volume - all the advantages and disadvantages of phonograms will be heard. A very successful model. There is no hum and muttering at low levels in a room of 10(!) square meters, a clear stage in stereo, vocals and highs are beyond praise. Amazing combination of price and quality. The speakers are 5 years old, I listen to them on the RX-V661 and DVD-S2700 systems from Yamaha. The speakers make it possible to hear everything recorded on the disc without fatigue at any volume. I didn't notice any genre preferences. I'm very pleased with the speakers. I've been using it for 5 years now. I went through a lot of acoustics - JBL, Warfs, Selishens. I settled on these. I think up to 1000 bucks is the best choice. Only the Monitor Audio Bronze BX6 can compete, but it’s also a little more expensive. Acoustics require mandatory warming up. In my case it was about a month. Enough appears Phazik at the back. It is necessary to move it thirty centimeters away from the wall. Everyone complains about piano varnish. Don't touch the speakers with your hands. Set it once.
