Music quest: How to choose speaker system and not missKey criteria for choosing speaker system: what you need to know to buy best speakers for your requirements
If you are thinking about buying the 555, 777, or 350, go with the latter—you won't regret it.
15 January 2019
The acoustics are excellent but for some reason, it didn't catch on with the public. There are no reviews or overviews. Currently, the 777 cost 50k RUB while these are 35k RUB. Although in my opinion, the NS F350 is better.
Excellent speakers have been listening to them for over two years on a Yamaha 477. An improved copy of the 555 or 777 with new HF neodymium magnets instead of ferrite, which improves speaker control. There are bookshelf speakers NS 750, one of the top models for Yamaha, and when compared head-to-head in the HF, I didn't notice a difference. The MF, as it seemed to me, has a slight dip at the junction with the LF, noticeable only when comparing. Comparing the LF of bookshelf and floor-standing speakers is not accurate. The detailing is at a very high level. If you don't listen too closely, you could say that I didn't notice a difference, although the 750 is very good.
Bought in 2016 for 23990 per pair, what are the disadvantages?
