Model overview based on user reviews
The Yongnuo YN-560 IV flash is appreciated for its good light quality and easy power adjustment, making it a convenient choice for photographers. It features a spring-loaded battery cover and offers extensive wireless capabilities, compatible with major camera systems like Canon, Nikon, and Sony. However, users have reported issues with durability, such as loose screws and a wobbling shoe, leading to concerns about its longevity. Additionally, there is a lack of service centers and repair options, which can be problematic if the flash encounters issues. Despite these drawbacks, the flash remains a popular choice due to its affordability and functionality, although potential buyers should be aware of the absence of TTL support and the need for manual settings.
Pros

Cons

Maybe I just got one like this, but overall the model is good.

bought it about six months ago. Initially, everything was great—the light is fantastic, controls are straightforward, and everything was set up quickly. I'm careful with equipment, but after some time, it felt like something came loose inside (turned out to be a screw), so it kept rattling. Then the shoe started to wobble—I was worried it might fall off during shooting. About a month ago, it started turning off by itself (not due to idle mode), and now it won't turn on at all. Overall, it's a great and convenient product, but for some reason, it just stopped turning on.
good light.
Power is easy to adjust.
Battery cover with a spring.

Now tell me!? Would you buy a car without technical support in your country???? No service centers! They still don't want to repair them in workshops... no spare parts! I'd like to see at least ONE BOLD FACE OF A DISTRIBUTOR RESELLER (it doesn't matter! And it doesn't matter in which city they're selling them) and ask. Can you repair it if anything happens?? Or just exchange it within 14 days? And you're lucky if the mishap occurs within those 14 days. If not... they'll send this "wonderful flash" back to China by parcel, however...
Just like a chick! No more!
No service centers! They still do not want to be repaired in workshops!

The family of manual flashes from the Middle Kingdom from Yongnuo fell in love with many for the optimal price-quality ratio.

Wireless capabilities

The model with the YN-560 IV index is already the fourth generation of the popular flash, which received at its disposal not only a signal receiver from Yongnuo radio synchronizers, but also a built-in transmitter for remote triggering of flashes of the current and previous generations(Yongnuo YN-560 III) with the ability to control zoom, mode and power for up to three groups of lighting fixtures simultaneously.

Scattering angles

Otherwise, the flash repeats its predecessor — there are practically no differences from it either externally or technically. And although it still lacks TTL support, which is why all the pulse parameters must be set manually, with proper skill, the model will help you get the desired result. The flash covers the lens focal length range most in demand among photographers from 24 to 105 mm(in terms of full frame). In addition to single pulses, the model operates in strobe mode.

Wide Compatibility

In general, the Yongnuo YN-560 IV has absorbed the best of previous generations without losing its affordability. And if it can be difficult for beginners to deal with manual parameters, then avid photo enthusiasts have plenty of flash options. Especially considering that the model is compatible with the vast majority of modern systems, including both SLR and mirrorless cameras.
