Brand macro flash for close-up photography, designed to work with Canon cameras. The model has a ring shape and is intended for creating flat shadowless lighting in macro photography. It supports automatic E-TTL II metering, has a guide number of 14 (at ISO 100), and is equipped with two auxiliary lamps for autofocus illumination (which comes in handy in poor ambient lighting conditions).

The Canon Macro Ring Lite MR-14 EX II features 13 power levels in manual mode with exposure compensation of ±3 EV and increments of 1/2 or 1/3 EV. The emitters themselves consist of two half-rings that can fire together or separately. The model can be used as a wireless leading flash or for creating modeling light. A large backlit display in the main unit, mounted on the hot shoe, is used for setting parameters. The macro light is directly attached to the camera lens mount. The model is powered by a set of four AA batteries or rechargeable batteries.

If using the EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM lens, the separate Macrolite Adapter 67 is required; if using the EF 180mm f/3.5L Macro USM lens, the separate Macrolite Adapter 72C is required.
