Evolution Orange Underdrive (EOU) offers a new way to approach your tone. Instead of overdriving your clean tone, now you can get cleaner tones from your favorite overdriven tone.That is what is called underdriving. Evolution Orange Underdrive works really well with vintage single channel amps that sound great when you push them to overdrive. When you turn down the volume from your guitar to clean that tone, the sound often gets a bit too dark and the clean tones are not as good as the overdriven tone. Bass pedal effect - pre-amp and overdrive. The three-band EQ includes Treble (boost/cut above 1 kHz) and Bass (boost/cut below 200 Hz) controls, plus a Mid switch which provides a 9 dB boost or cut at 500 Hz. Three signal path options determine where the EQ is applied. In Distortion Mode the EQ comes after the distorted signal and has a powerful effect on its timbre while the clean signal is not affected. In Input Mode the EQ comes first in the signal path affecting both the clean and distorted signals. Boosting frequencies in this mode can drive the distortion to a more saturated state.
