OptiCube lens technology spreads up to 1,100 lumens through a wide-angle beam across the road to light up the streets ahead, even when riding on country lanes in nasty weather. Three solid beam modes can be chosen, depending on ride length or the level of darkness being encountered while two flashing modes increase safety during the daytime when commuting in busy town and city environments. Four hours of use can be achieved when using solid beams, and 30 hours when a flash cycle is emitted, and when the battery is running low an integrated indicator tells the rider a recharge is required soon. Recharging is quick and a full charge can be achieved between rides in a matter of hours. The FlexTight mounting bracket provides a secure grip on the handlebars, and this is highly adjustable to fit any diameter. Once in place, this bracket keeps the light held firm, even when thundering over rough and rutted ground.
