The Laowa 85mm f/5.6 2x Ultra Macro APO Lens - Canon EOS R is a mirrorless-designed macro lens with 28.55° angle of view for full frame. It is the smallest 2x macro lens currently on the market. It weighs a mere 310g, making it really portable and handy for macro shooters. The Laowa 85mm features an apochromatic (APO) characteristic that means chromatic aberration at both ‘in-focus’ & ‘out-of-focus’ is compressed to a minimum. Photographs of less CA also avoid time-consuming post production. Internal focusing design avoids collision with subject and prevents the dust or ashes from falling into the lens. Able to focus from 2:1 magnification to infinity, serving as both macro and portrait lens with superior image quality. 85mm lens can focus infinity to 2x magnification along with a minimum focusing distance of 6.4” (16.3cm).
