The conical, gold plated Cinch connectors are from REAN made by Neutrik®. They are often used for the low-loss connection of digital terminals in the studio, DJ and consumer electronics sectors.The SPDIF standard and word clock require a characteristic impedance of 75 ohms, AES/EBU 110 ohms. Only then digital audio transmission via cable will be absolutely interference-free. The CPDS CC is fine-tuned to meet exactly these specific requirements.
