Safety belts
prices on 113 models— personal protective equipment used to prevent falls, as well as some other situations — for example, to restrict mobility to prevent the user from leaving the safe area, or as an additional point of support.
The principle of operation of all safety belts is the same: the belt is put on a person and, with the help of a strong cable or sling with a carabiner, is fastened to a reliable support (beam, crossbar, etc.). But the design of such devices may be different. The simplest variety is strapless products: these are belts in the classical sense, in the form of a strong belt worn around the waist and fixed with a secure clasp. Such products are simple, inexpensive, compact and at the same time quite functional for use in the purposes described above. A more advanced and complex variety is webbing belts: they consist of many belts that are passed not only at the waist, but also along the chest and back, over the shoulders, and also through the hips in the groin area (like a parachute suspension system). Such equipment requires a more complex fit, it takes longer to put on and take off, however, it is much more convenient to “hang” on a strap belt — to the point that for many models the possibility of using it in rescue operations in wells, mines, etc. was initially claimed — for lifting and descending people.
