Umbrella pushchairs

— in the unfolded position, the frame of a pushchair with an umbrella system, when viewed from the side, resembles a tilted support for the front wheel that ends with a top handle. Attached to this is a rear support, which stands vertically or almost vertically. During folding, the rear support pivots at the attachment point and is brought against the front support. Unlike book-like system, the front support remains solid and does not fold independently. The term "umbrella" is derived from the double handles commonly used in such pushchairs, and when folded, the design resembles an umrella. The advantages of this type of system are low weight, low cost and speed of unfolding/folding. On the other hand, the umbrella structure is very poorly suited for carrycots, which is why it is used mainly in pushchairs and individual universal models. In addition, double handles are less convenient than classic handles (the latter are also found in similar designs, but much less frequently).
