Super Lock sockets

— a variety of socket heads for a hexagonal profile. The name of such nozzles is due to the fact that they provide increased reliability, reducing the risk of breaking edges at high loads. This is due to the special shape of the working surface: there are 6 protrusions in a circle, which, when turned, rest against the edges closer to the centre (whereas the classic hexagon presses closer to the corners). This allows Surface/Super Lock sockets to be used even for stripped-off fasteners. The only condition is an exact match in size: if the part “walks” in the nozzle, the risk of failure, on the contrary, increases.
