Electric boiler

— a kind of modernized analogue of a samovar: a device for preparing hot water (boiling water) and maintaining its temperature, equipped with a tap for pouring water into individual cups. Also, such units are sometimes called thermopots, however, a thermopot is more of a compact home device, and electric boilers are designed for industrial use. Such equipment is convenient in cases where you need to organize a mass distribution of hot water — for example, for making coffee or tea during a buffet.
