Marmites (cooking dishes)
Steam table
— a device that is very similar in purpose and design to a chafendish (see the relevant paragraph). It is a container of small or medium depth, installed on a heater (usually a water bath) and designed to maintain the temperature of the finished dish for a long time. A distinctive feature of the classic food warmer is a rather high lid — usually semicircular, with a sliding segment — covering the contents. This lid allows you to maintain the temperature more efficiently, and you can open it to remove the contents without removing it. However, food warmers are often called the same chafendish, in which the lids are flat and are used mainly after hours. No offers found
