Tare function

— a function that allows you to compensate the tare (package) weight and determine only the net weight of the contents, without taking into account the tare weight. Tare compensation is implemented as follows: an empty package is placed on the platform and by pressing the “Tare” button, the scales are reset to zero — thus, when adding content to the container, the scales will show only the weight of this content. This function is indispensable when weighing substances and objects that cannot be placed on the balance without special packaging — in particular, when working with liquid and bulk substances.
