A/B class

— models with analogue signal processing, which, according to the principle of operation, are a combination of classes A and B. Due to this, it was possible to partially combine the advantages of both classes and eliminate the disadvantages. A/B models are characterized, on the one hand, by a fairly high sound quality, which allows creating devices in this class of Hi-Fi devices, and, on the other hand, by significantly higher efficiency and lower heat dissipation than class A amplifiers. Due to this, class A / B has become widespread among car amplifiers, most modern models belong to it.
