— gold is an expensive metal and looks very beautiful, however, in car amplifiers, as in other acoustics, gold-plated connectors are used not for aesthetic purposes, but primarily to improve the quality of contact. Such connectors have low resistance, the coating protects the contacts from oxidation and ensures their tight fit to each other — due to all this, the likelihood of interference on the connectors is reduced.
