— in inkjet printing, the printer's printhead sprays liquid ink onto the paper in microscopic droplets. This technology is most popular in home use: inkjet printers are relatively inexpensive, quiet, and capable of producing print quality up to photographic. On the other hand, such printers are poorly suited for printing in large volumes (for example, when used in an office): the resource of their cartridges is rather small, and the cost of printing per print is quite high.
