— intel chips built on the 9th generation Coffee Lake microarchitecture, officially referred to as Coffee Lake Refresh.Recall that the original Coffee Lake (another 8th generation, 2017) is the successor to Kaby Lake and uses the same 14-nanometer process technology. And Coffee Lake Refresh was released year later. The main improvements implemented in this generation are hardware protection against Meltdown and Specter vulnerabilities, as well as support for RAM up to 128 GB (depending on the processor model).
Note that the processors of this family may or may not be equipped with integrated graphics.
