The series chips use hybrid architecture that combines the high-performance Raptor Cove P-cores with support for processing two threads overnight and the energy-efficient Gracemont E-cores (single-threaded).The processors of the Raptor Lake line are built on 10-nanometer layout. From the previous generation of Alder Lake, they inherited integrated GPUs, support for DDR5 RAM, Wi-Fi 6E and Thunderbolt 4. And the new processors are fully compatible not only with the LGA1700 socket, but also with the 600 series chipsets, which opens up the possibility of an inexpensive upgrade.
