Mini DisplayPort

— reduced version of DisplayPort video output (see the relevant paragraph); has the same features and differs only in the size of the connector. Also note that the same connector is used in the Thunderbolt interface versions 1 and 2, and the graphic part of this interface is based on DisplayPort. Therefore, even some Thunderbolt monitors can be directly connected to miniDisplayPort (although it is desirable to clarify this possibility separately).
