Ultra-compact

— even more miniature option than compact solutions; the smallest variety of those keyboards that are generally equipped with a full-fledged alphanumeric block (only Num-blocks and keypads have smaller sizes). The ultra-compact "board" looks like a full-sized keyboard was cut off immediately after the Enter key, separating not only the Num-block, but also the arrows (the navigation block) and the block of service keys located above them (Insert, Delete, PrintScreen, etc.). At the same time, in many models, the functions of the missing keys are performed by buttons on the main keyboard — for example, when pressing the Fn key or switching programme settings. There are also solutions where there are still separate buttons with arrows — very small, under the right Shift — and sometimes also some service keys.

Thus, it makes sense to pay attention to this option in cases where you need a keyboard with a full set of letters and numbers, but small size and weight are also critical. In particular, ultra-compact models perfectly complement smartphones and tablets.
