Many modern televisions have additional features that require text input — up to Internet access and communication via Skype; for such models, special keyboards have been developed (also playing the role of remote controls). The main distinguishing feature of TV keyboards is specialization. It is expressed in two ways: firstly, such devices often have additional keys for specific TV functions, and secondly, they are usually made for specific TV models and are not intended for use even with other models of the same manufacturer (not to mention third-party TVs or PC connection). Therefore, the compatibility of the keyboard with your TV should be specified separately.
