— the presence in the design of the keyboard of separate keys to control the multimedia functions of the PC. A set of such keys usually includes at least buttons for working with the player — switching a track, play / pause, stop, volume, etc. — however, this list is far from being exhausted, different models may provide their own original features. A feature of multimedia keys is that commands from them work regardless of whether the player (or other application) window is open or it is running “in the background” — in other words, such a keyboard saves you from having to switch from the current programme to player. And models with a wireless connection can even play the role of a full-fledged remote control. Note that multimedia keys are also found in keyboards for TVs, but in this case their set is somewhat different — first of all, we are talking about volume control and image adjustment.
