— this category includes MFPs that have their own hard drive, usually in addition to built-in memory. Note that although the purpose of both types of memory is similar, the capabilities of devices with a hard disk are much wider, because they store much more information — a few tens or even hundreds of gigabytes. This allows the MFP to store not only small amounts of data, such as a queue of print tasks, but also electronic sorter data, scanned images, received faxes, copies of printed materials, etc. Built-in drives are mainly equipped with professional models with high performance — it makes no sense to install them into more modest devices, in particular, because of the high cost.
