P6 level

— at this level, the paper is cut into fragments with a width of less than 1 mm and an area of less than 10 mm². After such processing, the restoration of the document becomes almost impossible even with the use of special equipment, which makes it possible to work with documents constituting a state secret (however, in fact, such tolerances also depend on the internal rules of each specific organization).

For optical discs, the fifth level of secrecy involves cutting into fragments up to 5 mm², for credit cards — up to 10 mm².
