Downdraft (built into counertop)

— a variety of built-in hoods designed for installation in a countertop. Usually, they are installed across the table, although theoretically, the position can be any. At the same time, the air intake panel in such hoods is usually made retractable and completely hidden in the countertop when the device is not in use. Thanks to this, downdraft hoods take up a minimum of space. However, such devices are not cheap.
