Tablets with Dolby Atmos
Dolby Atmos
— an object-oriented sound technology developed and implemented by Dolby Laboratories. In simple terms, Dolby Atmos allows you to determine the approximate distance to a particular object when playing an audio track. This creates the effect of the sound stage enveloping the listener. For each such source, information is specified about what position and distance it should be in relative to the listener, how to move, what additional effects it should sound with, etc. And the playback device itself with Dolby Atmos support independently determines how exactly the sound should be distributed across the available channels in order to achieve the desired impression on the listener. The technology is not tied to a specific number of sound channels and, in theory, there can be as many of them as you like.clear | Save List |
