A powerful tablet based on the proprietary HyperOS operating system from Xiaomi, released at the end of winter 2024. In operation, the model relies on the most powerful hardware combination of the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, powerful Adreno 740 graphics and 8 GB of LPDDR5X RAM. Such a hardware platform will easily handle any games and resource-intensive applications without the slightest hitch.

Also inside the tablet is a fast UFS 4.0 storage device with a capacity of 256 GB (without a storage expansion slot). The best feature of the model is its large screen with a diagonal size of 12.4 inches and a 3:2 aspect ratio. The display substrate was an IPS panel with a high resolution of 3048x2032 pixels, a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz, and support for common HDR specifications (in particular, HDR10 and Dolby Vision).

The surface of the screen is “under the cover” of tempered glass Gorilla Glass v5. By tablet standards, the device has advanced cameras: 50 + 2 MP on the back and 32 MP on the front. There are 6 speakers with Dolby Atmos distributed around the perimeter of the model’s body. The device's 10,000 mAh battery supports fast wired charging with a power of 120 W. Finally, it is important to mention the side fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 7 and NFC communications (the latter is used to quickly pair the tablet with smartphones).

Size matters

The Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 8/256 GB tablet provides virtually unlimited possibilities for entertainment and creativity. The impressive 12.4-inch display supports a frequency of 144 Hz, a resolution of 3K (3048x2032 pixels) and AdaptiveSync technology, which provides high detail of the displayed content. HDR10 and Dolby Vision technologies are responsible for the realism and saturation of the image, and the brightness reserve of 900 nits allows you to use the tablet even in sunlight without deteriorating the display quality. Adaptive settings include 4096 brightness levels and are automatically adjusted. The display is certified by TÜV Rheinland, which confirms its safety for the eyes. The body of the device is made of durable metal and protected by Gorilla Glass 5.

Mobile cinematography

The main dual camera with a resolution of 50 MP and an aperture of f / 1.8 allows you to shoot video in 4K format. Image quality remains high both in bright light and at sunset or sunrise. The front camera with the FocusFrame function automatically adjusts the viewing angle to capture all participants in a video call and displays them in the center of the frame. The tablet can be used as a mobile screen to simultaneously display content from four different smartphones while filming. Synchronization is wireless, and the Wi-Fi 7 module ensures high data transfer speeds and no interference. Media files can be exchanged with other devices via the NFC protocol.

Collaboration

The HyperOS software shell, based on Android 14, is highly functional. One of the main features is multitasking support.
