Corsair Hydro is a family of classic closed-loop liquid-cooling systems with all components already fitted together and ready to assemble. All representatives of this family belong to the middle class and, in terms of technical development, are slightly inferior to the more status LSS from the Corsair iCUE family.
A typical member of the Corsair Hydro series consists of an efficient micro-channel water block with a quiet pump and an aluminium heatsink with one, two or three fans. The radiator and waterblock are connected to each other with a pair of reinforced hoses for the circulation of the refrigerant. Fans usually support automatic speed control. The type of bearing depends on the specific model. A full-fledged ARGB backlight, as a rule, is not provided. Usually everything is limited to solid-color LEDs on the pump cover.
In the assortment of the Corsair Hydro series, most often there are mid-range cooling systems equipped with a 240 mm radiator and a pair of fans. A little less often in the series there are miniature LSS with one turntable or monstrous systems with an enlarged radiator and three coolers. Single systems are often used in compact cases, while large-sized dropsies are usually bought by enthusiasts for overclocking Core i9 / Ryzen 9 processors.
Also in the Hydro series there are not quite format dropsies that deviate from the Aestek references. For example, here you can find a low-profile LSS Hydro H5 SF, designed to cool processors installed on Mini-ITX miniature motherboards. Or the acrylic-coated, ARGB-lit XG7 Fluid Block that replaces the fixed cooling on NVIDIA RTX 30XX series graphics cards.
